Oliver Good-
Head Coach

From Melbourne, Australia, Coach Good is in his third season as Head Coach at Idaho State University. Previously Good was the Assistant Coach at UNLV, where he worked alongside coaches Owen Hambrook and Andre Agassi.
In 2024, Good led Idaho State to its most wins in a season in program history. The Bengals also achieved their first ever ITA National Ranking (#72) and became the first Big Sky Team to defeat a PAC 12 opponent (Utah, February 2024).

Good is a Certified Gold Level Coach by the International Tennis
Federation and believes in making practice challenging yet enjoyable, while prioritizing the fundamentals of the game.
Good played and graduated from Weber State University in 2014. During his time with Weber State, Good was Team Captain, Team MVP, and
nationally ranked (#43) in their Big Sky Conference Championship
winning season, before becoming the team’s Graduate Assistant.
Ethan Lye-
Assistant Coach

From Singapore, Coach Lye is in his first season as Assistant Coach at Idaho State University. Previously Lye was on the Idaho State team from 2021-23, before joining the coaching staff for the 2023-24 season.

Lye had an exceptional junior career, with a High ITF Junior Ranking of 255, and wins over Holger Rune and Hanwen Li.
Lye then completed two years of National Service in the Singapore
Military before joining Idaho State.
Mark Rodel-
Volunteer Assistant Coach

Originally from South Africa, Coach Rodel has a wealth of experience, having served as the ISU Men’s Tennis Head Coach from 2015-19, and the ISU Women’s and Men’s Assistant Coach from 2010-14.
Rodel was the 2016 Big Sky Conference Coach of the Year, and is a Certified USPTA Elite Tennis Professional.
Rodel is also a great resource for the ISU Men’s Team from a sports psychology aspect, having received his Doctorate in Counseling and is
now a Managing Partner at Woodhouse Counseling in Idaho Falls.
